If you do not see a specific type of practitioner that you would like to visit, the providers listed in this directory can refer you to their colleagues in the field of integrative pain management. As we did not receive responses from all types of practitioners in each city, the selection was made on the basis of overall qualification, regardless of treatment specialty.

Practitioners were initially identified by their membership in one of several professional organizations. No specific treatment method was favored, as we sought all practitioners with an integrative approach towards treatment. To be considered for inclusion, practitioners needed to be licensed both nationally and in the state of their practice. However, the final selection weighed the practitioner’s training, experience, and expertise in treating women with chronic back pain.
